The cycling world hasn’t always been truly representative of the various communities that belong to it. Cycle Oregon knows a more than a thing or two about cycling in Oregon, and they are actively working to shatter barriers to BIPOC communities to come and experience the beauty of Oregon and what Cycle Oregon is all about.

In a progressive move, the organization allocated up to 10 fully funded entries for BIPOC individuals to participate in their GRAVEL 2023 event. Notably, The Paperclip.cc, a BIPOC-run publication, along with other BIPOC members, took advantage of this opportunity to engage in the cycling experience.
